 About the Teens Jazzband Velke Losiny
Teens Jazzband Velké Losiny is a dixieland formed of young musicians (age 15-26).
In 2010 (19th - 23rd July 2010) and last year (1st - 4th July 2011), they played at International Jazz & Blues Festival Birmingham and they are also invited to the 2012 festival.
Teens Jazzband also appeared at "Festival International de Musique Universitaire Belfort, France" (11th -13th June 2011). In the local newspaper "Le Pays", the singer of Teens Jazzband Velke Losiny was appreciated as one of the three best singers of the festival.
Last year (17th and 18th June 2011), the orchestra also played in Bad Füssing and in Kößlarn, Germany.
One of the highlights of the last season was also the opening of the cultural season in American Centre Prague (25th August 2011).
They recorded four CDs called At The Jazzband Ball (2003), Black And Blue (2004), Paper Moon (2005) (live studio recording with two guests - Michal Zpevak and Bob Zajicek - great jazzmen from Prague) and Svita (means "Sunrise" in czech) (2007). Currently, you can also buy a live CD from "Tribute to Annette Hanshaw and Mildred Bailey" (2011) which was recorded on a concert with Petra Ernyei as a guest.

Teens Jazzband also holds its traditional tributes to jazz legends ("Hradek pro krale") and they have played at these concerts with many important guests - for example with Petra Ernyei, Bob Zajicek, Josef "Bazik" Pavelka, Michal Zpevak. These concerts has been held for thirteen times.
Teens Jazzband has also perfomed in the radio many times and in TV two times.
